<p>Domi confirmed it on Twitter in true fashion, celebrating with a clip from Martin Scorsese&#8217;s modern masterpiece, The Wolf of Wall Street.</p>

<p>Domi, 29, collected nine goals and 47 points to go along with 118 penalty minutes in 80 games with the Maple Leafs during the 2023-24 regular season. The Winnipeg, Manitoba product added one goal and four points in seven games during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.</p>
<p>The Maple Leafs originally signed Domi to a one-year, $3 million contract back on July 2, 2023. He had been slated to become an unrestricted free agent on Monday.</p>

<p>Domi made his NHL debut with the Coyotes in 2015 and spent three full seasons in the desert before being traded to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Alex Galchenyuk. In his first season in Montreal, Domi set career-highs with 28 goals and 72 points in 82 games.</p>
