It&#8217;s been seven months since Maple Leafs prospect Rodion Amirov was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and it seems as though there&#8217;s some more good news in regards to his recovery.

The 20-year-old and the Maple Leafs agreed that he&#8217;ll stay with the Russian hockey club for the entire season. Remaining in his home country will allow him to be close to family and in a more comfortable surrounding while finishing off his treatments.
It&#8217;s another step in the right direction and everyone within and outside the Maple Leafs organization is hoping for the best.
