Sandin, Kaskisuo named to AHL all-star game

Toronto Maple Leafs prospects G Kasimir Kaskisuo and D Rasmus Sandin have been named to the American Hockey League all-star game.
Kaskisuo, 26, is 10-4-1 through 15 starts with the Toronto Marlies this year notching a .916 save percentage and a 2.45 GAA. His first NHL start came with the Maple Leafs came on Nov. 16 against the Pittsburgh Penguins where he made 32 save on 38 shots.
Sandin, 19, has played in 19 games with the Marlies this season recording 12 points. The 2018 first round pick has spent time with the Maple Leafs appearing in six games totalling two assists. Sandin is currently representing Sweden in the World Junior Championships where he’s scored five assists in five games.
The AHL all-star game takes place on Jan. 26-27 in Ontario, Calif.
