This week Justin Bourne joins us to break down some of the Leafs’ top prospects. Bourne was working with the Toronto Marlies as their video coach for the past two years, so he’s gotten to know the Toronto’s prospect pool very well over the past two seasons.
I highly recommend checking out his appearance on The Hockey PDOcast, where he dove a lot deeper into the ins and outs of working for the Toronto Marlies. It’s a fantastic peak behind the curtain of how working for a team can change your perspective on the game. Here’s a link to that podcast on SoundCloud and iTunes.
Alright, now that you’ve got a taste of what life was like working for Kyle Dubas and the Toronto Marlies, let’s dive into some prospect talk. Here’s a list of the players Justin and I discussed:
3:20 – Travis Dermott & Andrew Nielsen.
10:59 – Andreas Johnsson.
15:09 – Josh Leivo vs. Brendan Leipsic.
20:31 – Dmytro Timashsov
22:59 – Kerby Rychel
24:49 – Jeremy Bracco.
