Maple Leafs announce 2024-25 training camp roster

It finally feels acceptable to say that it’s official – Toronto Maple Leafs hockey is back.
The regular season is still three weeks away and pre-season doesn’t kick off until September 22, but today marks the beginning of training camp, the first under new head coach Craig Berube and the second under general manager Brad Treliving. Players will speak to the media again starting today, and said players will take the ice for practice starting Thursday, September 19.
The Maple Leafs announced the roster via Twitter/X, and you can find the full list of players along with all the information you might need from them by following this link.
Making up this year’s initial camp roster are 42 forwards, 18 defencemen, and seven goaltenders. Below is a list of the players attending, their position, and what kind of contract they’re on. Note the difference between a professional tryout (PTO) and an amateur tryout (ATO), along with drafted players who are currently unsigned (DPU)
