William Nylander is not only scoring a ton of goals and setting up his teammates on the ice this season. The skilled winger has helped out October’s Very Own (OVO) by being a model for their newest clothing drop, in collaboration with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
October’s Very Own and the Toronto Maple Leafs have collaborated numerous times, most recently for their “Hometown Heroes Collection” released on September 27, 2024. The late-September release featured Maple Leafs legend Mats Sundin as a model showcasing a Maple Leafs x OVO T-shirt in two colours, two different hoodies and a Toronto Maple Leafs blue basketball jersey.
Their newest release, which comes out today, Friday, November 22, is their winter release called “All-Canadian” which features a collaboration with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the six other Canadian teams in the NHL.
What we know right now is the release will include a breakaway pullover jacket from the brand Starter. Each will feature the hockey team’s name on the front right underneath the October Very Own’s Owl logo, a vintage NHL logo on the left shoulder and October’s Very Own written out on the hood.
There is also a new blue sweater to go after that features an owl on the front with Toronto written above, and a T-shirt that might garner the most interest as it is a white vintage-looking shirt with two goalies on the front and the word “Toronto” written vertically on the right side of the front of the shirt.
Today’s collaboration marks the fourth time these two sides have teamed up to allow fans of OVO and the Toronto Maple Leafs to purchase quality clothing. OVO and the NHL also collaborated ahead of the 2024 NHL All-Star game in Toronto, making it five collaborations with the sport of hockey in the last couple of years.
What do you think about the latest collaboration between the Toronto Maple Leafs and October’s Very Own? Do you plan on buying anything?
