John Tavares receiving a thorough examination and being discharged is absolutely encouraging, and we are hoping for the fullest of recoveries. While it goes without saying his absence leaves a huge hole in the Leafs roster, there are far more important things in life recovering from a head injury certainly takes priority. All the best to the captain, and hopefully the Leafs make him proud while he&#8217;s out.
