After a full 24 hours of wondering what’s going to happen with new Maple Leafs goaltender Harri Säteri, well, we finally have the answer.
He was claimed by the Arizona Coyotes.
Säteri most recently won a gold medal with Team Finland at the Olympics. But the 32-year-old also had a great season with Novosibirsk Sibir of the KHL, putting up a .926 save percentage over 38 games this season.
But, that all doesn’t matter since he won’t be playing with the Maple Leafs anymore. In other news, Petr Mrazek clears, which makes things even more interesting ahead of the 3PM deadline.
