The best rivalry in the sport is set to heat up again, as the Canadian Women’s National Team is set to face the Americans in a three-game series taking place in Southern Ontario.
The series will begin in London, ON on Tuesday, February 12th, at the Budweiser Gardens. The teams will then head to Toronto to play in Scotiabank Arena on Thursday, February 14th.
There will also be the final game set in Detroit, at Little Caesar’s Arena on Sunday, February 17th. This is sure to be yet another battle in the historic rivalry between these two nations – especially after the Americans were able to take home gold in Sochi earlier this year.
The rivals met earlier this month at the 4 Nations Cup in Saskatoon and previously competed against each other in a six-game series before the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
This is set to become a massive showcase of the two talents in some hockey-crazed areas. London, Detroit, and Toronto all have reasons to be crowned hockey cities, so the setting could not be much better when the two heavyweights collide in this series.
Tickets for Toronto are available now through Ticketmaster, tickets for the Feb. 12 game in London will be announced at a later date.
