Luke Schenn was on the ice for an astounding 21 scoring chances at even strength in total.  Kaberle and Armstrong were right behind him, and of course all three were on the ice for the Matt Stajan goal that resulted when the Flames were granted as many whacks at the puck as the wanted.
This was a very high event game for quite a few Leaf players, in particular Brett Lebda, who managed to see 5 Flames chances while on the ice for just 7:48.  It is really remarkable how he can give up so many scoring chances in the little time that he has been played lately.  He makes me yearn for Garnet Exelby, which I never thought could have been possible.
Kessel and Bozak had several chances between them but they were often hemmed in their own zone, which is business as usual for that line.
Phaneuf and Beuchemin matched up mostly matched up against the line of Tanguay, Morrison, and Iginla.
I personally was a little surprised to see that the Leafs came ahead in the chances on the game, as it  felt to me like Calgary was the better team tonight.  The push within the last several minutes of the 3rd period, where the Leafs rattled off six straight scoring chances up to Grabovski’s goal, and the PP chances made the difference.
