Scoring Chances for NHL Game Number 21108
James Reimer continues to face more than his fair share of high quality scoring chances, he saw 8 this game and 2 of them found the back of the net.  The Leafs played strong for the first half of the game, leading 7-2 (1 chance against came on a SH breakaway), then the Avalanche dominated the 2nd half of the 2nd period, outchancing Toronto 8-2 and creating 4 high quality scoring chances within that timeframe.  The Leafs held the edge in the 3rd period until the last several minutes of the game, when the Avs pressed hard in search of the tying goal that never came.

The first Colorado goal came off a fluke play, as did the Leafs first goal (a behind-the-net goal by Kulemin).  I counted neither one as an actual scoring chance.
