Joseph Woll nominated for Hobey Baker award

Leafs goaltending prospect Joseph Woll has been nominated for the 2019 Hobey Baker award.
Awarded to the top player in the NCAA player, Woll is one of over 80 players nominated. The first round of voting is done by the fans, then going to a smaller shortlist that will then be judged and the winner will be decided.
With Boston College this year, Woll has posted a .923 save percentage and 2.28 goals against average. Sitting at eighteenth among all NCAA goalies in save percentage, his .923 sv% is the highest of his college career.
The 20-year-old netminder was drafted by the Leafs in the third round at 62nd overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.
Most recently known for his international play at the 2018 U20 World Juniors Championship for Team USA, Woll has secured his spot as one of the top Leafs goaltending prospects.
He was also named a Hockey East Regular Season Champion and to the Hockey East Third All-Star team.
