Kessel, Booth have heated exchange at practice

It’s becoming difficult to keep track of all the ridiculous stories emerging from the Leafs this season, but here’s another to add to the list: Phil Kessel and David Booth had to be pulled apart by teammates at this morning’s practice.

Please, just give us the strength to get through these last seven games.

Perhaps the worst thing that could happen now is for this little tussle to spark the Leafs to “wake up” and put in a big effort from here on out, eliminating the good work they’ve been putting in on this tank job. Something tells me this group is well beyond that, however.

There haven’t been any quotes from players or coaches released yet, but they will surely dominate the airways for the next 48-hours. Stay tuned for all the takes.
