Seriously, what the hell was that on Saturday night in Montreal?

Not to overreact or anything, but how do you lose against a glorified AHL team like that?

Clearly, I’ve got some major questions that need answers. Unfortunately, I flew solo for the Monday edition of Leafs Morning Take, so you’ll have to wait an extra day to get Jay Rosehill’s reaction to that train-wreck this weekend.

I kicked off the show by dissecting the 3-2 OT loss to the injury ravaged Canadiens. Don’t worry, I tried to find some positives too..like Ilya Samsonov’s performance, so it wasn’t all doom and gloom.

After that, I jumped into the preview of tonight’s meeting at Scotiabank Arena between the Leafs and Islanders. To help do that, I summoned my co-host from the NHL Fantasy on Ice podcast Pete Jensen. Naturally, I kicked off the conversation by talking some John Tavares. Where else would you start, right?
