LGD: End of the road, off to the highway

Did you know that Yonge Street hasn’t been the longest road in the world for quite some time now? This is mostly because people noticed that it didn’t just flow into Highway 11, but forked off a few minutes before the actual end of Yonge.
That’s pretty useless information, but just like Yonge is now a whole different ballgame with a whole different car-driving speed than Highway 11, the preseason is much different from the real deal. Tonight, it gets about as close as it can, though, as the Leafs take on the Red Wings in their last test before regular season action on Wednesday.

What To Watch For

Well, this is the big one. This is the game where a few bubble players are going to get their last shot to make the team, but just as importantly, we’ll see a more-or-less complete Leafs roster take on a more or less complete Red Wings roster.
Puck drop is at 7:00 PM and you can catch the action on TSN 4.
