LGD – Leafs Look To Extend Winning Streak to Two Against Flyers

Welcome to the Zach Sill era, Toronto.
It will be defined by a lot of losses (no more than 22), a couple points, and a lot of penalty minutes.
It’s a good time to be alive.
The Leafs
Just kidding. I have nothing against Sill and wish him well in his temporary audition for pending unrestricted free agency.
The big news is obviously Dion’s Phaneuf return to the line up. If you’re one of those rare fans that likes to see your favourite team win, the timing couldn’t be better. Sure, the Leafs beat the Jets on Saturday, but with each player that is mercifully traded to a contender, Toronto’s lineup gets thinner and thinner. Look below. Does that look like a good team to you?

The Flyers
Philadelphia has already won their 2014-2015 three-game series against Toronto, having beaten the Leafs 7-4 and 1-0 previously this season. It’s not like they will take it easy tonight though, as the Flyers are right in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff race.
They won’t catch any of their Divisional rivals, but Philadelphia currently sits four points back of the Boston Bruins for the final wild card spot. Against one of the worst teams in the league (Toronto), Philly will be desperate to gain some ground.

Starting Goaltenders
What to Watch For
- Roman Polak, Joffrey Lupul, Olli Jokinen and Tyler Bozak. No promises they will still be a Toronto Maple Leaf by the time Saturday rolls around.
- “Sparks”. Zach Sill is said to provide them, whatever that means.
- The Arizona Coyotes visiting the New York Rangers. A win on the road and the Desert Dogs could be within four points of 26th place Toronto!
