Mitch Marner Scores Second Hat Trick in Second Straight Day

Another day, another three goals for Mitch Marner. No big deal.

What makes Marner’s second hat trick in two games (in two days) is that this time he added two assists for five points on the night. Marner now sits tied for the lead in OHL scoring with linemate Christian Dvorak, both sporting 55 points in 24 game stat lines.

So here are the three goals in order… with the first of them bringing out all the teddy bears at the Knights’ annual Teddy Bear Toss. The second is shorthanded, which just goes to show how dangerous Marner is on both special teams. And my God, look at that between the legs move. The skill is off the charts.
