Recapping the weekend split vs. CBJ + Dylan Strome drops by: Leafs Morning Take

In case you missed it, on Friday’s show, my co-host guaranteed a weekend sweep over Columbus for the Maple Leafs. Yeah, well, at least they got one of them, right?
As you probably could’ve guessed, considering what went down on Sunday night, we kicked off the Monday edition of Leafs Morning Take by talking about the Super Bowl. Most importantly, we broke down Rihanna’s red-hot half-time performance. For what it’s worth, thumbs up all around.
After that, we got into the weekend split against the Blue Jackets. It doesn’t happen often, but Rosie was all kinds of fired up to share his thoughts.
Additionally, fresh off signing a five-year, $25-million extension with Washington last week, Mississauga native Dylan Strome dropped by the show. We talked about everything from what kind of tipper he is, what’s it like to play with Alex Ovechkin and we even touched on the Blue Jays, too.
