Well hello there.

We’ve reached that wonderful point in the late summer when it feels we are close enough to start thinking about training camps, but still far enough away from NHL hockey that there isn’t a whole lot to talk about. Thank goodness for the Calgary Flames otherwise this could have been an incredibly long summer.

In anticipation for hockey talk ramping up again soon, we wanted to hear from you, our valued readers/hate clickers to get your thoughts on the Leafs in what may turn into our attempt to do an annual poll. There are about a zillion questions I think we could ask you about the Leafs, but we limited it to 20, and made it as multiple choice as possible to make it a relatively painless process.

It’s a chance for us to get a pulse on Leafs nation in regards to goaltending, coaching, the front office, and team toughness, amongst other things. And we’ll spend the rest of August gathering data from you before spitting the results back at in you in September through a series of articles.

So join in, have fun with it, and definitely don’t forget to tell us your thoughts on TLN too. We’ve got a field at the bottom that you can sound off and let us know how to better meet your needs as a reader. Just remember that I cry easily.
