Welcome to TheLeafsNation Game Day where we take a look at today’s Leafs game and a few other things happening around the league.
Amid a slew of games on Hockey Day In Canada, the Leafs will be taking on the reeling Montreal Canadiens for their second game in a row. Can they keep rolling themselves?

Who I like

Freddie Anderson ($7,800) is getting the start today and could have some solid value at his price point. Montreal’s offence has slowed down over the last four games averaging only 1.5 goals per game.
Auston Matthews ($8,500) is on a complete tear right now scoring six goals and an assist in the last five games. He’s got two assists in two games against Montreal this year and would imagine he keeps rolling.
On the other side of the ice, Tyler Toffoli ($7,000) hasn’t scored much beyond playing the Vancouver Canucks, but that’s going to change at some point. Tonight might be the night he starts to chip in.

Around the NHL

There’s tons of action happening around the league today.
Kevin Lankinen ($7,000) has been great for Chicago averaging 14.1 FPPG this season and could provide some solid value. Curtis McElhinney ($8,100) is averaging 18.6 FPPG and could be a solid start against Florida as the Lightning look to exact revenge for a tough loss the other night.
Andrei Svechnikov ($6,400) has averaged 15.9 FPPG this year and has five points in his last five games. I like him tonight against Dallas and has a goal and an assist in three games.
Jack Roslovic ($4,700) has averaged 8.4 FPPG this year and has been on a tear since joining the Blue Jackets scoring nine points in eight games. He’s scored two goals and an assist in three games against Chicago this year.
