Welcome to TheLeafsNation Game Day where we take a look at today’s Leafs game and a few other things happening around the league all with daily fantasy in mind.
A bit of a weird one tonight considering William Nylander has been a late scratch due to being a close contact with a COVID-19 case, but nonetheless, the Leafs will look to stretch their winning streak to five games.

Who I like

The Leafs have had the Habs’ number this year, and I’d be confident with rolling with either Jack Campbell ($8,100) or Michael Hutchinson ($7,900) in net.
Morgan Rielly ($4,900) is at the lowest price point I’ve seen him all season even though he’s scored three points in four games against Montreal this year. I’d be comfortable sliding him into my lineup.
Jason Spezza ($2,600) has been one of the leagues most productive players this year in terms of points per hour. He’s scored 21 points in 38 games, and has a nice matchup tonight.
On the otherside, Tomas Tatar ($4,300) has good value for his price point. He’s got two goals and an assist in three games against Toronto averaging 13.2 FPPG.

Around the NHL

Another quiet night, but there’s a few nice plays.
Colorado has had Minnesota’s number this year, so I’ll be plug and playing Phillip Grubauer ($8,400) tonight. He’s 5-1 against the Wild this season.
Jakob Chychrun ($5,900) has been one of the best fantasy defencemen this year averaging 12 FPPG. He’s got three point in four games against LA this year but has been on an absolute tear over the last handful of games.
He isn’t cheap, but Nathan MacKinnon ($8,600) is a solid play tonight. He’s scored 12 points in six games against the Wild this year, keeping up his over 16 FPPG average this season.
