The Toronto Maple Leafs are in the midst of a nailbiter at the moment, about to head to overtime against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Battle for Steven Stamkos. In the meantime, two of the goals have special significance to Tyler Bozak, who picked up his 100th goal and 250th point.

Bozak’s goal was an interesting one, involving some redirections en route to the back of the net. In fact, P.A. Parenteau originally thought that his stick swing was the one that got the puck. Certainly, it wasn’t as clear cut as the first goal of his career, which may be one of the best first goals in the history of the league:
Bozak also picked up his 250th point on Toronto’s next goal, a less glamourous cross-crease assist to James van Riemsdyk. Bozak has 18 points in 25 games this season.
