WWYDW: Should the Leafs make changes to their lineup?
The Toronto Maple Leafs are ROLLING right now. Sure, it’s only three games.
But besides falling behind 2-0 against the Chicago Blackhawks (and then dominating the rest of the game, and winning in overtime)… what more could you want from this team?
But ALSO… we haven’t been in an argument about Josh Leivo recently. Also, Miro Aaltonen. Also, Kasperi Kapanen? Also, Kerby Rychel. Also, can the Leafs trade for Leipsic again?
And we haven’t even got to the defence!
Did you like what you saw from Travis Dermott over the weekend in the AHL? Bring up Liljegren already?
OH… and we haven’t even seen a backup goalie in use yet at all! Use McElhinney? Call up Sparks? Pickard? Clone Andersen? Argue about whether save percentage is an accurate metric?
This, about, is what the Leafs lineup looks like right now.
So do you… mess with it? Or do you say “Mr. Babcock… do your thing. I believe in you.”
