The trade deadline is just under a week away, taking place this upcoming Monday. On a day where you’re likely to be a little less focused at the office or the classroom, the Leafs still haven’t really given us a great indication of what they’ll do moving forward.

After a pair of minor trades over the past week getting rid of Nikita Soshnikov and Eric Fehr’s contracts for draft picks, the Leafs are now in a position where they can add another player if they’d like.

So if you were in charge of the Leafs trade deadline plans, who would it be?

Would you go for broke and sell the house for Erik Karlsson in a six-man package? Would you keep it simple and target an ex-Leaf in Michael Grabner? Would you decide that the missing piece is a player with some grit like Edmonton’s Patrick Maroon? Or would you really make that push for Tyson Barrie that’s been rumoured for years?
