Auston Matthews notched two goals and two assists while Martin Jones turned aside 28 shots in his first start with the team. All around, it was by far the most impressive victory of the season for Sheldon Keefe’s squad. They were absolutely dialled in. For a change, they didn’t blow the lead —although things got a bit hairy in the second period for a bit.</p>
