<p>Mitch Marner scored the OT winner as the Leafs defied the odds to come-from-behind and take down the rival Bruins 5-4.</p>
<p>For all intents and purposes, they had minimal business winning that game. They found a way, though.</p>

<p>Naturally, that’s where the conversation started on the Wednesday edition of Leafs Morning Take. For what it’s worth, Marner had 12 points in the four regular season meetings with Boston. All in all, it was a huge win for Toronto as both Florida and Tampa won yet again. We took a look at the Atlantic Division standings to add some context to the conversation.</p>

On top of that, Pontus Holmberg and Nick Robertson continued their hot play. Meantime, we gave some love to Morgan Rielly, who to a degree, flew under the radar racking up a four point night. It was a huge character win! Also, we spent quite a bit of time breaking down the injury to Chris Tanev. That’s a massive loss —especially with the deadline just around the corner.</p>
