TRADE DEADLINE SZN is here.

On Monday afternoon, the Vancouver Canucks dealt their captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders in exchange for Anthony Beauvillier, prospect Aatu Raty and a protected 2023 first round pick.

So, naturally, the common question is how does it affect the Leafs? I broke it all down on the Tuesday edition of Leafs Morning Take. For starters, Horvat going to New York means he didn’t end up in Boston, which is a good thing. In the grand scheme of things, we’ll see what how the blockbuster trade impacts Toronto. I’m so curious to see what they do.

Also, unfortunately due to technical issues, we were unable to connect with TSN’s Bryan Hayes on today’s show. Don’t fret, he’s agreed to try again tomorrow. We’ll figure it out.
