<p>Ahead of their home date with Los Angeles on Wednesday night, the Leafs have been getting some much-needed practice time over the past few days. Of course, they still have three contests remaining on their four-game homestand.</p>
<p>At any rate, we kicked off the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAOkql6X1Ec">Tuesday edition of Leafs Morning Take</a> by commending Toronto’s ongoing charity work. Anthony Stolarz, Nick Robertson, and Chris Tanev represented the Leafs at the team’s annual Thanksgiving Day visit to Covenant House Toronto. They signed autographs and helped to serve 400 meals to youth aged 16-24. With that in mind, I had Rosey speak about some of the charity work he did back in the day with the Leafs. Since the Brian Burke era, the organization has put a greater emphasis on giving back to the community. It’s been nice to see.</p>
<p>Additionally, we also discussed the mini scrap at Buffalo Sabres practice on Monday. In case you missed it, Rasmus Dahlin and Peyton Krebs came to blows after the Sabres’ captain delivered a hip check during a drill. This type of stuff happens a lot. Just for good measure, Rosey confirmed this. And he would know.</p>

That said, William Nylander was absent from Tuesday’s practice due to illness. Hopefully this doesn’t spread too much! Also, we discussed the struggling power play. Over the past few days, the Leafs have tinkered with a variety of different combos. It looks like Oliver Ekman-Larsson will get some runway here quarterbacking the first unit, though.</p>

In addition to discussing his future, Coach Q also weighed in on the current state of the Maple Leafs. Spoiler: He believes in them.</p>
