Leafs Postgame: Playing Like Hall of Famers

Nov 9, 2018, 21:58 EST
The Leafs had a pretty solid night, you could say. They managed to light the Devils up for a whopping six goals, on Hall of Fame night no less.
So, let’s make this quick. It’s Friday night, I got places to be, you got places to be, so lets talk about some goals.
First, we got Ron Hainsey starting his Norris campaign with this amazing pass to John Tavares.
Then early in the second, Marleau got his 600th career assist on this Nazem Kadri snipe/Keith Kinkaid miss.
kadri scores from marleau and it's 2-0 buds!
Ok, I think Ron Hainsey may have pulled a Space Jam and stole the talent of all the Hall of Famer’s tonight, how is he making these passes.
brown from lindholm and hainsey and it's 3-0 leafs in the second period
This was shortly followed by Andreas Johnsson’s first goal of the season. Good for Mango, he deserved it.
andreas johnsson finally gets one!
Keith Kinkaid honouring Martin Brodeur’s HOF induction with his best impression of Martin Brodeur without Scott Stevens and Scott Niedermayer in front of him.
morgan rielly with a goal of the year candidate! 5-1 leafs
And Tyler Ennis concluded it with this snipe. Or did Kinkaid miss it again? Honestly, I couldn’t tell at this point.
The Devils scored in between these goals, but honestly, who cares, it’s the Devils.
It was a solid game overall, and a needed win before their first game against the Boston Bruins since game 7. So, at least it will be a good start to the weekend, hopefully there’s a good finish as well.
