With the last two picks of Toronto’s 2018 NHL Draft, the Leafs take goalie Zach Bouthillier and Semyon Kizimov, 209th and 211th overall.
Bouthillier was the starting goaltender for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the QMJHL this season. Had a .894 sv% and a 3.42 GAA. Chicoutimi placed 15th out of the 18 teams in the QMJHL, so not the best team to be the goaltender for.
But hey, he did make a good save.
In Semyon Kizimov, they have left-handed RW that played for Ladia Togliatti in the MHL this past season – 6 goals and 18 points in 30 games. He will stay in Russia and likely play with the same team in the MHL. At 6’0″ and 176 lbs, he is fairly average in size.
