LGD: Tonight’s Game Postponed

Oct 22, 2014, 13:37 EDTUpdated:
Acknowledging the gravity of what has happened today in Ottawa, the National Hockey league has decided to postpone tonight’s game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators.
I don’t want to get into the nitty-gritty of the situation, because I don’t think that I’m the right person to talk about it, nor do I believe that this is the correct platform. I don’t think that any of us make anything better by creating speculation – if anything, spreading speculation can literally be life threatening at this time.
I’m just here to tell you that we won’t be watching Toronto Maple Leafs hockey tonight, and that it’s probably the correct decision. The current situation needs to be properly addressed before we can worry about an entertainment product.
On behalf of everybody on The Leafs Nation, and on the entire Nation’s Network, I’d like to offer my condolences to those connected to the harmed today, and my best wishes to anybody effected by what has happened in any way.
If you would like updates on what exactly is happening in Ottawa right now, we recommend CBC.ca.
There is no update at this time on when the postponed game will be played. When there is, we will update you.
