Maple Leafs select Artur Akhtyamov with the 106th overall pick

The Leafs added a goaltender to the system with their first of two selections in the fourth round. Russian netminder Artur Akhtyamov joins Joseph Woll and Ian Scott in the Leafs goaltending prospect stable.
Akhtyamov is a 6’2″ athletic goaltender who has put up impressive numbers in the MHL in the last two seasons, and even better numbers in a small sample of 4 games at the VHL level this season.
