Marlies Move To Eastern Conference in AHL Realignment

The American Hockey League announced today their realignment for the 2015-16 season.
The Toronto Marlies are now in the Eastern Conference’s North Division, moving from the now non-existent Western Conference North Division. Moving along with the Marlies are the Utica Comets (Vancouver),and the Rochester Americans (Buffalo), while Albany (New Jersey), Binghamton (Ottawa), St. John’s (Montreal), and Syracuse (Tampa Bay) round out the newly created division.
The schedule will be announced later this summer. For the first time in Marlies history, they will not play Hamilton for half of their season.
