<p>The 28-year-old has been injury-plagued over his seven year career. In two seasons with Ottawa before joining the Maple Leafs, Murray made just 47 total appearances. Furthermore, he hasn&#8217;t hit the 40 game plateau since 2018-19 when he was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins.</p>
<p>Murray made 19 stops in his Maple Leafs debut in Wednesday night&#8217;s season opening 4-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. He was expected to get the call tonight against his former team.</p>
