There’s some good news and some bad news on this Friday.
I’ll start with the good. Just two weeks ago, after dropping the first two games of their series with the Rangers on home ice, the Devils found a way to persevere and storm back to take the series in seven games. That bad news is the fact that the Leafs are down 0-2 and are two losses from the season being over.
We kicked off the Friday edition of Leafs Morning Take by dissecting Game 2 and what the Leafs need to do to get back in the series. Fortunately, they’re 3-0 away from Scotiabank Arena so far this postseason. It’s doable.
After that, powered by our friends over at Skip, we broke down the Sam Bennett hit on Matthew Knies. Naturally, especially with Rosey being a former tough guy in the show, we wondered if Toronto should’ve tried to do something about it.
At any rate, we preview Game 3 coming up on Sunday night. At this point, it’s pretty much do or die time for the Maple Leafs.
Lastly, for the Betano Wrap Up, we’re expecting a ton of offence once again in Vegas tomorrow.
Join us on Monday at 11 AM ET as we recap Game 3..hopefully it’s a 2-1 series.
