Paul Bissonnette wants to be a Leaf

The Toronto Maple Leafs probably aren’t looking to sign an enforcer or an overly-outgoing personality, but neither of these things have stopped Paul Bissonnette from pleading his case in a bit of an unusual way this afternoon.
Funnily enough, Bissonnette was probably one of the better enforcers at actually playing hockey. He’s never peaked above eight points in a season, but most of his points tend to be goals or primary assists and his opponents tend to do anything but shoot when he’s on the ice. I’m in no way advocating this signing, as I don’t think the Leafs need an enforcer, but I’m surprised that teams who still believe that they do have passed on him for the past two seasons.
With that said, I don’t think sliding into Shanny’s DMs is going to do him much good today.
