Previewing Leafs/Wild + Frank Seravalli drops by for some TRADE TALK: Leafs Morning Take

After a few days of practice, the Leafs will be back in action tonight when they host the Minnesota Wild. After that, they’ll head out west for a five-game road trip that starts on Sunday night in Seattle.
I flew solo for the Friday edition of Leafs Morning Take. Everything just hits differently on Fridays, don’t they? Anyway, as per usual when he can’t make the show, Jay Rosehill dropped by for another amazing instalment of 3 Hits With Rosey. After that, I also offered my preview for tonight and the roadie, plus I gave my thoughts off the top on Boston’s big trade Thursday night with Washington. Damn, it’s an arms race in the Eastern Conference right now.
Meantime, NHL Insider & Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli dropped by for a visit. For what it’s worth, he hasn’t wavered one bit on his stance regarding the Ryan O’Reilly trade. At any rate, we dove into the trade market and what else Kyle Dubas could have up his sleeve between now and next Friday at 3 p.m. Eastern time.
Lastly, no Rosey today, so indisputably, I had some big shoes to fill considering how hot he’s been with the bets. Here’s my PointsBet Canada bet of the day.
Have a great weekend! Talk on Monday at 11 AM ET for a full recap of the games against Minnesota and Seattle, plus much more trade talk!
