I think that was the bounce-back effort we were all hoping to see from the Leafs.

We kicked off the Friday edition of Leafs Morning Take by talking about Auston Matthews’ dominance. Indisputably, Thursday night was one of his best performances of the season. He was an absolute beast.
Meantime, I still can’t get over the fact that it took 71 games for the Leafs to finally get a 5-on-3. I’m not usually ref guy or whatever, but what the hell? How’s that possible? We discussed:
