What a game, what a finish. The storybook season continues for Mitch Marner. Also, Ilya Samsonov improved to 14-0-1 on home ice. And that’s ridiculous.
It was a blockbuster edition of Leafs Morning Take. To kick off the show, we dove into the OT thriller —a back and forth affair. The two teams went blow for blow. Additionally, Rosie gave some praise for Timothy Liljegren, who notched a goal and an assist. Also, if you follow us on social, you knew we just had to talk about this:

After that, we talked some TRADES with NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman from Sportsnet & Hockey Night in Canada. As per usual, Friedge did not disappoint dropping nugget after nugget..including this one.
