As we speculated for a while now, the Canadiens will announce the return of Tomas Plekanec today once the market opens. One-year deal. He had some serious interest from Chicago, I believe, but returns to the Habs

It was a short stint in Toronto, but his turtleneck will live on in our hearts. As reported by multiple people, Tomas Plekanec will return to the Montreal Canadiens on a one-year deal.
After coming to the Leafs at the trade deadline just a few months ago, Plekanec will be returning to the only other team he has ever played for in the NHL. This has been predicted ever since the season ended, so no surprise coming here.
Plekanec only played 17 games for the Leafs in the regular season, earning two assists on the way. But he was brought over for the playoffs, and played all seven games of the series against the Boston Bruins – scoring two goals and four points.
Maybe Tyler Bozak will hitch a ride with him over to Montreal?
