The Toronto Maple Leafs announced their 2024-25 television and radio broadcast schedule and the fan base can expect things to look and feel a little bit different this season.

While not much has changed on the radio side of things, as Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN 1050 will split the air waves, the television broadcast schedule includes six games that are solely being broadcasted nationally on Amazon Prime Video. This is the first season NHL games will be broadcasted to the popular streaming service.

While Prime dip their toes into the NHL world, you’ll also be able to see 36 regular season games featured nationally on Sportsnet, while Sportsnet Ontario will be the home for 14 games. TSN will broadcast 26 games, with the two major media companies split the club’s regional broadcasts. TSN and Sportsnet will have rotating broadcast panels, meanwhile expect to hear fan favourites Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph as the team’s radio commentators, as both will be back for this season.

As far as when Leafs fans can expect to have to log into their Amazon Prime accounts to watch a game, the following dates will be exclusively on Prime Video:

The 2024-25 preseason schedule is just around the corner as the Maple Leafs kick off their exhibition schedule this weekend. Toronto will host the Ottawa Senators on Sunday Sep. 22. The Leafs then head to Ottawa on Sep.24, followed by home-and-home matchups against the Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings to end the preseason.

It all starts for real on Wednesday Oct.9 when the Leafs visit the Canadiens to kick off the 2024-25 campaign.
