That said, if they want to make a meaningful run in the playoffs, they don&#8217;t get to pick and choose their opponents. Not facing them in the first round probably means they&#8217;d get them in the second round if they even advanced that far themselves, so there wasn&#8217;t any escaping them to begin with.
