Yesterday, William Nylander turned a ripe 22 years of age.
Sooner than you think, he’ll be signing his first big-boy contract in the NHL, a restricted free agent this offseason for the first time in his career.
Many have looked to David Pastrnak’s 6x$6.66 million as possibly the best possible comparable for Nylander,
So what would you look to give him? Are you trying to lock him up for the full eight years? Are you thinking some sort of a bridge deal? Would you see if you can get him to work for free because he loves the game so much? Give him a max contract? Get him to only play home games because he doesn’t like to travel?
What would you do?
