<p>After a 12-game absence, David Kampf is set to return from injury as the Leafs visit the Dallas Stars.</p>
<p>And so, life officially begins – even though he’s already missed two games – without Anthony Stolarz. On Tuesday, it was announced that the 30-year-old will be out of action for 4-6 weeks with a knee issue. Next man up!</p>

While we both agreed that Dennis Hildeby has earned a few more starts, we also think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to call up Murray and have Hildeby continue to develop in the AHL. This is why they employ the two-time Stanley Cup champion, right? He’s there for insurance purposes, and indisputably, now’s the time to roll him out —provided he’s fully healthy, of course.</p>

Judging by lines at practice, it looks like Connor Dewar could be a healthy scratch. Furthermore, we discussed the new-found Nylander-Matthews-Marner super trio and if that combination has staying power. Personally, I don’t like the balance if you stack the top line, but that’s just me.</p>
