Hats off to a beauty night in Buffalo + NHL Network’s Mike Rupp drops by: Leafs Morning Take

Five days after the fact, at least for yours truly, it still really hasn’t resonated that Ryan O’Reilly is a Toronto Maple Leaf.

What a night in Buffalo. The Passion Line (That’s what we’ve named them) combined for 13 points! Obviously, we had to kick off the Wednesday edition of Leafs Morning Take by celebrating the Tavares-O’Reilly-Marner trio and what they brought to the table at the KeyBank Center on Tuesday night. What a treat. Utter domination.

After that, we gave the new look fourth line some love, too. Noel Acciari’s quickly becoming a fan favourite. He was credited with SEVEN hits last night!

Additionally, 2003 Stanley Cup Champion/Current NHL Network Analyst Mike Rupp dropped by for a chat. Like most people in the hockey world right now, Rupper was quick to praise Kyle Dubas on the trade with St. Louis.

 

Lastly, hope you’ve been tailing Jay Rosehill’s bets. The dude’s on fire. Obviously, he was under centre again today for the PointsBet Canada bet of the day.
