LGD – SOMEBODY CALL 911

Well boys and girls, I hope you brought your popsicles because its about to get scolding hot in the Air Canada Center.  You already know the rules…because there aren’t any.
Just kidding.  Of course there are rules.  The Calgary Flames are in Toronto tonight (7:30PM Eastern, TSN4) to take on the Leafs.  The Leafs are fresh off a 5-2 stomping of the Vancouver Canucks while the Flames are coming off a 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks.
The Flames, though, are in great position right now.  They boast a 17-9-2 record and sit 6th in the wild Western Conference.  That said, they’ve drawn a lot of criticism for their play so far.  They sit 2nd last in the league with a 44.02 Corsi% and 3rd with a 101.79 PDO, leading many to argue their winning ways aren’t sustainable.
The Leafs aren’t too far off.  They too sit 6th in their Conference with a 14-9-3 record and have won 5 of their last 7.  Leading up to the World Juniors the Leafs play 5 of their next 7 on home ice and will look to keep on rolling tonight against Calgary.
