Incredibly, it’s now been a week since Kyle Dubas’ public dismissal from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
And it feels like so much has happened in seven short days.
I kicked off the Friday edition of Leafs Morning Take by discussing a timeline for Toronto’s GM decision. It feels like they’re taking things slow, but any way you slice, I would say time is of the essence. For the record, Brad Treliving’s name continues to be the only one out there. Make of that what you will.
After that, Jay Rosehill popped by for another 3 Hits segment. He touched on John Scott’s comments from Thursday, and also doubled down on his Ray Shero for GM campaign. For frequent listeners/viewers, Rosey’s been consistent with that since Day 1.
Meantime, Hockey Insider and President of Hockey Content for Daily Faceoff, Frank Seravalli, stopped by. We discussed Kyle Dubas, the Leafs’ GM search, and if it’s Brad Treliving’s job to lose at this point.
For the Betano Wrap Up, I’m looking for a response from the Blue Jays tonight in Minnesota.
Join me on Monday at 11 AM ET as we recap any news from the weekend and look ahead to the month of June for the Maple Leafs.
