<p>It’s time for the Maple Leafs to win a playoff game on home ice.</p>
<p>We kicked off the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44Yb7gFE6ic">Wednesday edition of Leafs Morning Take</a> by sharing our initial thoughts on everything that transpired at TD Garden on Tuesday night. Top to bottom, the Leafs put forth a monster effort and were fully deserving of the victory. For some reason, they always seem to step up to the plate when they’re missing a marquee player.</p>
<p>Presented by Greta Bar YYZ, the breakdown of Game 5 started with a free-flowing conversation about Knies, his former landlord John Tavares, and of course, Woll. You need people to step up this time of year, and a bunch of guys certainly did. Max Domi was another. He went 12-2 in the face-off circle, and most importantly, he did a superb job centering the top line alongside Tyler Bertuzzi and Mitch Marner. That line was fantastic. Kudos to Marner for elevating his play after a tough Game 4. He was making plays out there. Lastly, we did touch on special teams. Incredibly, the Leafs PP is now 1-for-17 in the series. That needs to change, or they have no shot of finally conquering Boston.</p>
