The Leafs are currently sitting third in the Atlantic Division and line up as underdogs in any likely playoff matchup. With six games left in the season, their magic number is a whole four points: that is, a win and any combination of losses from teams with a reasonable chance of catching them. Right now, their playoff percentage sits upwards of 99%, with the Leafs needing to not only lose every game moving forward, but also multiple teams to also win every game as well.
So our question is this for you: Is there any sense in giving any of the regulars a night off? Should the Leafs look to limit Frederik Andersen down the stretch? Has Patrick Marleau earned the right to spend an extra few hours at home with the kids? Would Tyler Bozak
Or is this professional sports, and fatigue is for losers?
