Trevor Moore Loaned To AHL Marlies

The Leafs announced today that forward Trevor Moore has been loaned back to the Toronto Marlies.
At first glance, this may look like a paper transaction as the Leafs are off until the 28th, and saving cap space whenever possible is always ideal. However, the plan appears to be for Moore to play for the Marlies on boxing day before likely rejoining the Leafs on Friday against the Blue Jackets.
Trevor Moore is coming off of his NHL debut, in which he picked up an assist on Frederik Gauthier’s second period goal.
